This tour offers the most a person can see in the least amount of time. It includes a night train with sleeper berths for you and your party. Your guide will pick you up in Lao Cai at 6:15 am and be taken for breakfast. Your tour will start through beautiful landscapes.

Day 1 Arrival in Lao Cai – Sapa – Bac Ha Sunday Market
Arrival in Lao Cai. Drive to visit Bac Ha Sunday market, the largest market in the region, where local people get together, sell and exchange homemade products, such as handicrafts, clothes, jewelry, and vegetables. Then have a 2-hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people). Drive to Sapa to overnight.
Day 2 Sapa O’Chau – Lao Chai – Ta Van Villages trekking
Optional: Morning visit Sapa O’Chau, a minority-owned social enterprise who helps the hill tribal people in education and life. We can have a rest at the café and visit their H’mong Handicraft Showroom.
Afternoon, do trekking through villages of Lao Chai & Ta Van, home to Black H’mong, and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor, you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered golden rice terraced fields (if in harvest time Sep-Nov) and scattered villages. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 3 Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi
After breakfast, we drive to the Silver Waterfall, located about a half hour from Sapa town. Stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with people to understand their local life. Then drive uphill to the Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam. Drive back to Sapa for lunch.
Back to Lao Cai railway station for a night train to Hanoi at 8.20 pm. Arrive in Hanoi at 4.45am.
